Back at the Volunteer House in Atitbie and a trip to Nkaw kaw

MONDAY 18TH JULY 2011
We woke up this morning to Thunder and Lightening ,we took a taxi ride  to the school but  found it closed up , heavy rain  in Ghana means children who walk for miles do not turn up for school until it stops ,this didn`t happen until very late in the day so we stayed around the volunteer house and then went in to Nkaw Kaw a busy town full of shops (not shops like you and i know ) and a market selling deep fried lizard ,snails and very smelly fish and lots of fresh fruit .
"people in the town selling fish and vegetables "

"never one to miss out on a bit of fun and get everyone dancing and  laughing "!!

"loved the way they carried everything on their heads effortlessly "

"the beach was beautiful and the sea was very dangerous ,you were unable to swim in it due to the strength of the waves pulling you further out  into sea but AMAZING" !
